Users are adding phone numbers to the database.
I would like to know when and what time the data was added as I have to send these numbers to an outbound dialer. It would be easier to schedule and make sure I dont continue to call the came people opver and over.
Right now I only know the date they enter their information. I would like a time also.
Can anyone help?

How have you implemented the date to show per new record?

I added a todays date field in the table.

Date() is date only
Now() is Date and Time

That is how I have it, but it is not working for me. I have never attemped to use this function in the past.

If you open the table what does it show in the timestamp column for NEW record, not existing records.

I attached a picture in my previous post. I feel stupid as I build these things frequently (although basic) but I am having a senior moment.

From your screenshot I would advise you drop the spaces between your field names.

You seem to have too many date fields. I don't see why you are saving Today's Date?

Could you also tell us what the other date fields are for and what their default values are?

Remember, TimeValue() function can give you the time part of the Date/Time field.

I have dates that need to be 14 days from todays date. That way we know when to go into the field and cut someones electric for not paying their bill. (I work for a untility)
So, I need todays date and a future date field so I can query cuts for the day.
I can eliminate todays date if I have a timestamp. I need to know when the rep enters the information so I know when I sent accounts to the dialer.

They are all short dates.

I'm guessing you're referring to the Format? Set it as General Date and you will be able to see the time part.
