Dates displayed as Month Year

i have a table that stores dates, of various types


English Dates
US Dates
DayCodes

i now need to add a new column Month and Year

i need the data to be displayed as :

Jan 04
Feb 04
etc,

should i store this in the table or can i extract it as a query? using the current dates

but how would i use just the month and year from the date format ?

Expr1: Format([dob],"mmm/yyyy") where dob is the fieldname of your date

and in this way you will have a space between the month and the year

Expr1: Format([dob],"mmm" & " " & "yyyy")

as will just setting the Format display to mmm yyyy and are you saying you have separate fields for US and English dates or are they just mixed?
