Hi,

I use a form to maintain my newspages, and one of the fields is the date a newsitem should disappear.
I noticed a sudden change in behavior of this field. The dates in the form all were inserted in the db perfectly as they should and could be compared with sytemtime to evaluate the existance of the newsitem. But now the inserted date goes bananas : wether I insert 1/6/2003 or 6/1/2003 I get 1/6/2003 as a result. When I insert 31/12/2002 the format I used up to now, I get 31/12/2002.

What is going wrong ?

Check your Windows Regional Settings as this is what Access uses as the format for your dates unless you fromat it differently. I don't know where you are so I don't know if you use US or European dates. Also, if a query is involved Access requires the date to be in US format. You will find information about this here.
