Day of the week?

Hi all.
If you have a date cast as a long (43112 for example) and you would like to get the day of the week out (Monday, Tuesday, etc), is there a function for that or do I need to write my own modulus function?

You can use cdate to convert the long to a date, then use the regular function....

Thanks, but I know how to cast dates to anything except Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc. The 'regular' function.. I don't know what that is. Got a hint for me?

OK, call me stupid.

Use the Format() function.

I've used format to format(myDate,"mm/dd/yyyy")
What's the syntax for 'Day of the Week'?

Format will do, you can also use weekday...

You can also just set the display format property to dddd
