also in my recent dilema exploring the small but complex world of DDE i have hit another prob!
I am using Access as a server and MSWord (Again) as a client. so Word is recieving info from access (such as table contents) that all words well and i have even got the DDEExectute working!
However how can i make Word send info to Access using the same set up. sods law will probably have it that i can only POKE info from Access to word, but i need to got the other way!
i have treid opening a DDE channel from access but dont know any of the Word TOPICS and when i use system i get the "overflow" error. surely DDE is a two way operation?
i run Win95 OS and Office 2000
