Default Value Not Displaying on Form

I have a numeric field where I set the field value on my form to zero. However when I run the form in form view, the zero does not display. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!

It would appear to be a bug! Running 2003/SP2, I get the same results! Works fine setting it at the Table level, which is where most people do it.

Oh, I was afraid of that. FWIW, the default vaule is indeed set in the table. Any other ideas? Another thing, I have other fields on this same form that are set as currency. Those display the default value just fine.

Only thing I can think of is to delete the control on the form and re-create it. How invested are you in this app, i.e. is there real data already in place? If not, and deleting the textbox doesn't work, you could delete and re-create the field in the table, as well.

What Access version/service pack are you running and what is the Field Size, i.e. Long, Double, etc. of the field?
