Sorry to be a pain guys!
Im having one of those days today! I am making a hash of doing a query so I just deleted it to start again. Less chance of more errors, I think.
Quick question though, the form was created from the query. So long as I re-create the form in the wizard as I had previously will the form pick up that the source is the query again? It will be named the same.
Or should I delete the form and re-do as well?
Im being lazy I know but I hate all the designing and re-sizing in the form!
Thanks Guys
Ani
PS I think Im going to leave the design of the ayout until after Ive done everything else, now....keep learning :D

If you are using the same fields and you name the query the same the form should use the same source. If you have added extra fields to the query you will have to add them to the form.

Thanks Trevor. Im getting a parameter box come up which I do not want, so deleted frm as well.
I need to know where the box is coming from and understand what Im doing with the query now! More reading!

You possibly might be using an expression and then renamed it but referred to it as the original name.

Are you able to upload a sample of the database with the query in it, I can take a look for you.

What exactly is the message/parameter box?
Usually, an unintended parameter box indicates Access can not find the field involved - which means a spelling mistake. Check you field names for exact spelling.

Thanks Guys! Im going to look at those suggestions and see if I can work it out, for now!

Trevor...you're not far from me! :)

Very True Ani,

I go to Derby from time to time to work with clients and customers.:)

Thanks Guys. It wasnt just a spelling error Id missed putting the correct name of the field into a copy and pasted expression! Maybe I need to learn how to write them!
Ani

Thankfully we arent quite in Derby. I hate cities and towns. We are in the no mans land between Burton and Derby, not far from Toyota!
