I've done a lot of searching before posting, but aren't searching on the right terms I guess.

I've got basic relationships established on tables which works in most cases.

My concern is when I build a query those relationships are established in design view. The information being displayed in the datasheet view isn't what I'm looking for.

Can I safely delete the table relationships within the query design window and pull the data from the fields that I actually want?

Hello jamescullis, Welcome to AWF :)

A Query window will auto populate the JOIN when the tables are brought together which have been defined using the relationship window. It is just one step ahead of you, that is all. You can safely delete this JOIN and do what pleases you, it will not delete the actual relationship.

EDIT: Of course mine is the LOOONG answer
