Deleting Records

Hi,

I have a problem, of course

I'm making a deleting query, structured as:

Field: Sheet.*
Table: Sheet
Delete: From

Field: Number
Table: Sheet
Delet: Where
Criteria: Results!Number

in the query I've included only the Sheet table (because if I include also the Results one it says me: "Impossible to delete the record from the tables") and once i run the query it says me:

Insert the Value:

Results!Number

Hi,

You need to set the query's UniqueRecords property to Yes.

Right click anywhere in the query design view outside the field list and design grid and select properties. UniqueRecords is the second item.

I found this by accident in the help. Believe me it's well buried!! To see help item enter "important considerations delete query" in the Answer Wizard and select "Important considerations when using a query that deletes records" from the list. Click on the last >> button.
