Hello to All Sophisticated Programmers,

Well, my problem is very simple and i am sure that there is some solution for this.. I am going to deliver a Demo Project to a Company. what i want to do is to limit the Programm or Database for a limited period of time. once installed there should be a pop up message like this

"This is a Demo Version. Will expire After 14 Days"

and after 14 days the programm should stop working or should delete itself from hard disk. How can i Do it.

Are there any kind of KB articles in Microsoft for this
Is there any module or macro that i can get to download from internet so that i can use it.

Any help would be highly appretiated

Deleteing itself may prove problamatic without a third party script. Locking it up after a period of time or number of opens would be easier. I know there are third party programs that make this easy but I feel sure that it can be done in VBA.

Try looking at the NewPassword Method in VB and incorporating that in a sub to automatically change the pasword after a given time. Just a thought.
