Denomination problem

Hello, everybody!

From 1st July 2005, the romanian money (leu) is going to loose 4 zeros (10.000 leu = 1 new leu), so i have to update the values to the new requirement.
Can anybody suggest me how should I do this the easy way?

I was thinking to export all my datas from the tables to excel, modify them there, after that modify the tables currency field to accept decimal values, and import the datas back (from excel). Can dis be correct? Or should i do it another way?

It crossed my minde that maybe the solution is an update query, but unfortunatelly I never worked with update querys Can you be more specific?

something like so:
UPDATE [YourTable]
SET [YourField] = [YourField]/10000;
