You know how normally in design view there would be a table at the bottom of the screen where you can drag your fields from the view above.

Well, I have a query where this table view has disappeared ?

I can edit the query in SQL view, the query works, just the table view is missing.

Ever happened to anyone else ? I've done the obvious and scrolled down as far as I can and nope, it's not there ???

Try dragging the bottom edge down. It's possible to make that happen when you drag it up, or drag the lower edge of the upper section down. Does you query window look like the attachment, with a narrow bar just above the lower edge?

Tried dragging everything and could not find the table ? Very weird. So I've ended up rewriting the query. I think something was going wrong between work and home, using 2 versions of access.

If you close a "query" while you're in SQL view and re-open it in design view, it will open in SQL view. In order to get into the visual query designer, click on the "design" button, in the button set with the display and SQL view buttons.
