Hello,

I accidentally removed my developer extension add-in from the access 2007 add-ins.

How can I get it back?
I dont know where the dll or exe resides.

I know now where the .dll resides.
I went to the access 2007 options --> add-ins --> add.
Then I selected the AccessDE.DLL but stil I dont see the developer extensions.

I have the same problem but the solution does not work. I just cannot add the developer extensions back in.

Please help, someone. This is driving me insane.

Since putting up the previous post, I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Office 2007 and Access Developer Extensions. And it hasn't made any difference.:mad:

There has to be a registry issue involved here. Does anybody have any idea what registry keys might be involved?

Problem Solved

This might not be a recommended approach to solving the problem but in my case it did the trick.

I uninstalled Office Pro along with the add-in. I then used regedit to completely remove all keys under "Office" for local-machine and current-user.

After re-installing Office Pro and Developer Extensions, I am now fully up and running again.

It would still be nice to know which registry keys were the cause of the problem but perhaps I never will.

Well, glad you got it working and posted how you did it. It is an interesting mystery.
