hi guys/girlies i'am new to this forum so bear with me , i am training to be a driving instructor and have made a student database with contacts details ect ,i would now like to go more advanced and incoroate a diary booking system into the database, my knowledge of access is not great but i can get about the trouble is i have no idea of how to make a booking system or even where to start , can anybody help please (if anybody needs a copy what i have done so far let me know i will email ya ) thanks in advance :) :rolleyes: ;) :cool: :D

OK,
Why not strip your dbase and post a copy. With that you might clearly outline your question and hopefully someone here will be able to respond.

is it just you or are there more than 1 driving instructor

- as you may actually be reinventing the wheel
you could use Outlook
set up a new contacts
and then rely on the diary
however if you are using this system to do your accounts as well then ignore the Outlook option
and post your slimmed down d/base on the site and you should get some response

it is zipped:rolleyes: if you would like a version that ins't office 2007 then it wont work because it has tabs in it :(

Not a lot of people have gone to A2007 so you're going to be lucky. Try reposting with A2007 in the title.
 
can you make this a lower vesion--- you will see most posts here are 2000/2003

then we will tinker and then you can rework this to 07 later

if i could i would but the database has tabs in it which are not supoorted in earier verisons :(....

but you guys should upgrade 2007 is miles better ;)

started new thread because i was getting a lot of ppl saying they havn't got 2007 so i put that in the title sorry if i did wrong just didn't want to waste anybodys time if they haven't got 2007 access :o :) ;)
