Difference between....

Can someone enlighten me on the difference between Basic Programming and Visual Basic programming? or is there a differnce?

Basic uses the same code as Visual Basic, but you have some objects created by MS. Like textboxes, command buttons, listboxes, ...
In Basic, you have to create them by yourself
Beware, some people say Basic while meaning Visual Basic.
Basic is not in use anymore as everything is done much faster with Visual Basic.

Thanks for your answer. I was wanting to take classes at a community college and they offer basic programming...Maybe, I should contact them to be sure it is Visual Basic
