I am glad you are not offended by my "spoonfeeding".
But you will appreciate that is a problem sometimes.

The Message Box occurs if there is a failure to link to the backend.
Try removing all error checking in that procedure.
You will have to be careful here because some errors are expected and can be tolerated.

Without being able to test this, the only possible error I can see is that you may be having a problem with a missing reference to Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library.

This I think would be the most common error that people using A2K and A2K2 get when trying to run A97 databases.

Have a look for that missing reference under Tools/References and let me know how you go.

If someone else could try it under A2K or A2K2 it would be most appreciated.
