differing forms...

ok have 1 database - but 2 forms, form 1 will be have x6 text enteries and x1 date entry - this information has to be stored on the database but doesnt need to be accessed at form 1 ever again

form 2 has a x3 date entrys, x15 yes/no entries and x2 text entrys, this information has to be kept in the database and accessable when going into form 2 and searching the ref no

how? who? when? what? why?

I think you have to be more specific with your question...

you are highly unlikely to have someone build the dbase for you..

but if you have specific queries you need help on.. people are more than happy to help you..

my two cents...
for form1 you can have a form which just jumps to the new record each time.. so it will only show you a blank form.. this can be done easily through a macro or code on the OnOpen event..

for form2 you can have a form which has a drop down list where you select the ref no.. and a subform which shows up the data..

I am no means an expert (in any sense of the word)
but hope this helps a bit..
