Hello all,
I stumble into a problem with access.
I have a table called tbl WVL and a tbl Inter-Mu. (All customers within the company itself)
tbl inter-mu is empty, because in tbl WVL there is little information about part owner, work center and destination.
Thanks to a colleague who keeps for two years track about owner, part name and destination, we have built a tbl partnumbers, it is about 2911 records big.
No more than part name, return station, part number and part owner. Tbl WVL has part numbers, so we know the owner.
Now we can keep track of the part and we can give them deliver dates. This is very important, especially when you have a repair window of 24 days. Airplane engine in and 24 days later an overhauled engine out. But then you need to keep track of all the parts.
I have made an append query on tbl WL and TBL partnumbers into tbl inter-mu.
I need to update tbl inter-mu every time SAP runs an update i need to updateTBL partnumbers. Delete tbl inter-mu and build a new one is no option because we have also time to go calculations made to tbl inter-mu. What I need is look at the WVL update and compares again part numbers and fill the tbl inter-mu whit the new data. Leaving the old data alone until it is gone from tbl WVL, and then I need to copy it to history.
This is giving me a headache. Please give me a push in the right direction.
Regards,
