Hi Everyone,

I have 7 or so analysts who "score" or evaluate a group of 200 people. Those 200 people are each assigned to a Supervisor. Each of these 200 people recieve multiple evaluations in a month; some recieve 5, some 8, etc. So the table is set up with Employee Name, Supervisor, Score, Date. Looks like:

Employee A Sup 1 97 3/4/2013 - The score and date are the only things that the analysts fill in on the form. So as they are working, the query is "adding" how many scores are added on today's date for each sup. (i.e. I do an evaluation in the morning for Employee A; Sup 1, record it, and the query says 1; Another analyst does an evaluation at the same time for Employee B, Sup 1, record it, and now the query should say 2)

SOOOO, when this number gets to 5, I want a message box to pop up and let us all know that that specific supervisor has 5 evals..or "Supervisor A/B/C has reached 5 evaluations for today"

? Thoughts?

I would appreciate any advice, tips, guidance, etc

Kim

You can use a DCount() to get that?

Does it matter who did 5 or on a total of 5 entries for the day?

At what point do you wish to do this check?

The query already displays the counted values though so would DCount be right? It matters more WHO is at 5...

The query is set up like the following
Supervisor Name #of evals completed for today
Basically it uses the main table to count the number of scores that were recorded on that day and groups it by the supervisor that the score was recorded for..

I would like this message box to display as soon as the query reads 5...

please let me know if this is confusing or if you need more information!

Thanks so much for the quick response!
