I have created some reports in Crystal 8.5 that I need to distribute to users.
First question is do I have to install Crystal on their machines in order for them to call the report?
If the answer is yes, then my second question is how to I allow them to run the report on their own in crystal and either not be able to make changes OR not be able to save changes?
In the Crystal help I can see how it is possible to not allow certain users to open reports but I need them to be able to open and refresh data without being able to make changes that may cause problems for other users who run the same report.
It seems like my only option is to run the reports myself and either print, email, or post on our internal website. I would like to not spend 15 minutes every morning running reports for people though.
Anyone have any words of wisdom for me?
Thanks
