I have moved this thread from tables as advised.

My problem is that I use the attached code to import an xls into my table.

The xls has a number of fields (field1, field2, field3 etc)which are set as a general number ie: 12345. When imported into my table where the fields are formatted for currency it shows as £12345.00 when it should be £123.45.
I know that i can, in excel divide the cell values by 100 but I am trying to save this step to eliminate human error.

Also as the kls comes with cancelled bookings shown in field 1 as a negative field ie: -34500 is it possible to separate these records and add them to a different table.
My main table name is bookings and I would like the new table name for negative amounts to be cancellations.

I might have read the code wrong but it looks like you are importing the code into a table within access then cleaning it up.

I would think that it would be easier to reference the xls file via a recordset and then run through the xls recordset extracting the data one at a time modifying and inserting it appropriately into the tables desired.
