Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could help.
My boss has asked me to calculate on access how long (in working days, which
is 7hrs 24mins) we have been working on our projects for.
For example: We have been working on our BSS project for 48hrs 55 mins (using
24hr clock) so far which works out to be 2 days and 55 mins. But they want
to now how many actual work hours have been used for this project.
I hope this makes sense, If anyone could help, i'd be very greatful.

How are you storing the work time now? If it is just the number of hours you should be able to divide by 7.4 to get the work days.

If you use a datetime datatype 2 days 55 minutes would appear as 01 January 1900 00:55:00 AM

DateTime is actually a Double datatype formatted to the appear as a date and time. It is the number of days since 00:00 on 30 December 1899. The fractional part is the time in parts of a day.

7 hours 24 minutes is (7.4/24) days.

If you divide a DateTime field by this you will also get a number of days (in a decimal format).
