hi everybody

iam struck at the format / syntax for using dlookup to get a value of a unbound calculated textbox on a form

please help

Doesn't sould like a DLookUp job at all.
Refer to the textbox as:
Forms!formname!textboxname

true - I assumed OP was looking to reference the control value as criteria

i tried using forms!formname!textbox but no results

what iam stuck at is...

i have a form called stock

here i have 2 sub forms.....material recieved and material sold

the difference is my stock-----unbound calculated textbox

this value should be available for me on the PURCHASE ORDER FORM

On a subform:
Forms![stock].Form!subformcontrolname.Form!textboxname

Note you must use the name of the subform control on the main form.
Not the name of the subform object it is displaying.
