DoCmd.OpenQuery - Need help adding filter

Hello.

I am trying to open a query using

DoCmd.OpenQuery strCurr_Query, acViewNormal, acReadOnly

but I need to add a filter string called

strCRITERIA

and I just don't know the way to get it done.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Where is the filter coming from? Is it from some boxes on a Form?
Do you know about the filter when you decided to open the Query?

You might want to use vba.
Create a skeleton of your query, and adjust with the criteria before actually running the query.

I think you're going to have to tell us more so we can advise properly.
