Hi I am fairly new to Access, but what i want to do is have a drop down list on a form. The list will contain cources that 5 colleges do. When the person uses the databse i want them to select the cource (from the drop down menu) and then for it to show the colleges that do that cource.

I have set up a table called 'Table1' and i have it so the cources are at the top horizontal then underneeth each cource i have the colleges which do it (example):

Animal Care Business IT
College A College A College B
College B College C College C
College D

Thank you for any help anyone can give me.

It is important to know how you organize your data in a database? How different information related each other and organize them in different tables without duplication etc.

It is a good idea if you take a look at the tables, relationships (Tools Menu -> Relationships), Forms, Queries, Reports etc. in the Northwind.mdb sample database.

If you are using Microsoft Access 2003 then you can find this file in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Samples\Northwind.mdb

I think when you are through you will be better informed to start with your own project.

I'm using Access 2010, do they have a sample database i can relate too? I thought this would have been quite easy, but I am a beginner
