Duplicate Records

OK, I'm sure I should know this, and I'm sure it should be easy. How do i stop (or at least invoke an error dialog) when duplicate values (In this case group number, time, or room number) are entered into my forms??? Just so no rooms can be double booked, if you catch my drift...

You can try putting the room number as part of your PK along with time...

However this will not work i think cause a room will be boked:
01 sep 2003 12:00 to 13:00 Meeting room 1

next would be
01 sep 2003 12:30 to 14:00 Meeting room 1

The second would have to generate an error. This can only be done by checking the table with a query and/or VBA

PK is a short for Primary Key

What is the Dam like ?? What do you mean?? Dam square???
