Hi everyone.
I never used Access before and finding it really hard to figure it out through ECDL modules and tests. Modules don't really explain anything that well and tests are set out in some bizarre way and only allowed to click once somewhere wrong before failing that question. I was fine with Word, Excel, PP and theory stuff but I am really struggling with Access. :banghead:
Q.8. I need to create a table and add fields and properties. one of the properties is to set it as 'long date'.
Can someone, please, please, be so kind to help a newbie? Would anyone know how to set 'long date'?

I know this is probably really simple for you, but I really cant figure it out.... :o

Thanks!!

Once you've set the data type to Date/Time, Long Date would be an option under Format.

that's the thing... i try to click on there to edit it but its not working. and test note pops up saying its wrong. i only get to have one wrong click before failing that question...
i just dont understand what am i supposed to do.... :(

Not sure what to tell you. See attached.

How people on this forum would accomplish this task might not be how your test wants it done.
With that being said, check the ribbon. Towards the right under the Formatting subsection.
