ECDL Course - What can I look to do when I qualify?

I am currently doing an ECDL course (European Computer Driving Licence). This is the first time that I have touched Access and Excel. I seem to be getting the hang of it. I was wondering what someone with an ECDL qualification, but no experience in the field can expect to get and earn as a first job after qualifying? What kind of job would you recommend I start with, and what will my employer expect me do be able to do within Access?

The level of skills covered by the ECDL is pretty much what you would need to get any office based admin job these days. It's not going to swing the doors wide open for you, I'm afraid.
