Access 2000.

Here is my VB thus far.
Code:
Option Compare Database

Private Sub cmdBUTTON_Click()
Dim sSubject As String
Dim stMail As String
Dim sDocName As String

sDocName = "rep_CLIENTS"
'message subject
sSubject = "Here is your bill. Thank you. dated " & Date
stMail = DLookup("[ClientEmail]", "tbl_CLIENTS", "[ClientID]= Forms![frm_CLIENTS]![ClientID]")

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
DoCmd.SendObject acSendReport, sDocName, acFormatPDF, _
stMail, , , sSubject, "Client Billing for Today", True

End Sub

Everything work great EXCEPT the PDF part. When I click my button the send box will open and ask me to select the format which I want to send the attachment

here are my choices:
Rich Text
Excel 97-2003
Text
Excel 5-7
HTML
Snapshop

Why can it not convert to PDF on the fly? Is there anything I can install of tell Access to allow a plug in of sorts? I have Adobe Acrobat Professional installed now. thanks.

I am pretty sure it can be done but I've never had a need to do this so can't give you an relative experience.

However, here are some links that either describe it, or get real close that you might be able to cobble together a solution ....

This link is from the last link (last post on the page) that has some code in it ...

Since one of those said he did before with Acro 6, you might be able to e-mail directly and inquire.
