Email Problems

I get an error when trying to email one of my reports:

My Database can't send this e-mail message.

Before attempting to send an e-mail message from My Database, resolve the problem identified in the previous message, or configure your computer to send and receive e-mail messages.


Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

How are you trying to email the report?

When I have the print preview open I choose the email on the quick launch

You aren't using something like GMail are you? You are using Outlook, correct?

And you have Outlook open at the time you are trying to do this? If so, I'm not sure what would be happening.

Yes Outlook is open when I am trying to do this.

Not sure as I can't replicate your problem. It works fine for me. Is this on a business network? Could it be that the network administrator has a group policy in effect which is interfering?

I know it may be an obvious one - but is Outlook set as your default email client in your internet settings?

Yes it is my default mail client.
