Ok, I have my db sending off emails with a report set as the body of the email. However I loose the formatting of the report in the process. One of the key items that I require is Check Boxes, which seem to refuse to be displayed.

Is there another way of achieving this?

Are there any possibilites with Data Access Pages?

The "easy" way is to send your reports in snapshot format which retains all the formatting. The only problem is the recipient will need to have the snapshot reader installed.

Another way is to send your files in PDF format. However, PDF isn't native to Access (don't know about A2007). If you are happy with a manual solution then you could just install a PFD writer which gives you a print driver to create PDF documents which you can then manually email.

If you are looking for a slick solution to send PDFs I'm guessing this will work:

Use Stephan Leban's code here to generate your PDF file. Then use your emails API to create an email and send it. An example of using the email API for Outlook to create an email with the attached file(s) and send it is here.

I've used both these solutions individually (or at least a variation of the second from another site which I can't find) but I see no reason why they can't be used together to provide your solution.

yeah i dont think that'll work too well since this db will be distributed to a large group of people.
