Emailing report in Access 2007

I have monthly reports. I update the query to show this month, open report and it shows the current data. I save it. Then I send it out rtf, which opens in Word, and it has last month's data in it. It's happening frequently and I have NO idea what is wrong. I cannot find any reason why it's doing it.
Can anyone help me with this?

Are you sure it is overwritten the previous month's file?
 
A date range prompt is used in my reports that are sent to print preview screen where I can save them as pdf files that can be emailed. The report I email the most is the closed workorders for police and fire vehicles. When I save the current vehicle workorder I am asked if I want to Overwrite the existing file name. Maybe your RTF file isn't updating because a file with the same name is preventing it.
