Enable view -->Zoom

Hi there,

The View --> Zoom is in frozen state right now.I am trying to enable the View--> Zoom function but i dont see any option anywhere to set it on.

Please advice.

Open a database.
go to Views tab on the top
drop down to Zoom option---------------This option is Frozen
User want to make it avalable.
Can some one please help.

Whicgh version of Access? It's not in 2003.

Zoom is for reports only. Are you trying to use it with Forms?

Good on ya Access, why not put a menu item in that is not relevent. No wonder I design my own menu's

Well, in 2007 they don't have that problem as only those items applicable to the current view show up on the ribbon, at least as far as I can tell.

In A2007 I opened one of my A2003 databases that I had hidden the Db window, disabled the shift key created my own locked menus etc and everything showed up. All the design ribbons, editing ribbons etc. My custom menus were under the "AddIns" ribbon! So much for trying to stop the fiddlers.
