English OAP Needs Help!

Hello from North Yorkshire in the UK.

I have been an Access user for many years but until recently using the 2003 version. I have now updated to 2010 without much difficulty in all my programs except one. Unfortunately the most important one!

I have joined the forum hoping that somebody out there can help.

Hello again Bob - When I write a new database in 2010 and use the function Format([mydate], "yyyy mmm") there is no problem.

When I update an identical function from a 2003 database I get the error message "Undefined function 'Format' in expression.

Any ideas? Thanks again...
