I have an access program that was built for me about 3 years ago and it has been moved to different computers in the past but I am having problems moving it again.
I get the following error message:

The application encountered an unexpected error
The error #is: 3033
The error statement: You do not have the necessary permissions to use the tbl_AccountGroup object. Have your systems administrator or the person who created the object establish the appropriate permissions for you.

Now I've been logged on as administrator and couldn't change the permission on the file.

The only thing that would have changed is the versions of access have been upgraded.
I've tried this on a couple of computers without sucess.

I hope someone can help!

this is more likely that the original database was secured against a workgroup, and on the new compyter you have not joined this workgroup

you need to find the workgroup, which will be a file called something.mdw (the standard workgroup is called system.mdw, but almost certainly the one you want is not system .mdw), and join this group

workgroup files are almost impossible to reconstruct, and if you dont have it, you are almost certainly stuffed.

Thanks for that but I solved the problem with lay in my computer not allowing new macros which I turned on and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!
