Error - ".data at the same time".change the same

I keep getting the error:

“The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time”

…when trying to export or append. Does anyone know why this may be and what I can do to fix it? No one else is using the database..

Hi,
sounds like your db is corrupt! Did you try compact and repair (tools--database utilities...). Also did you try to import all objects into a new blank db?

There was a bit of corruption. Managed to track down a couple of errors in some imported data so by copying out the data to another table and reimporting the 'dodgy bits' it seems ok now.
