everytime i add new data to my database i will receive this error msg. pls help me. i also attached my db n the error msg

i got a form to be fill up. everytime i try to fill in the data, it will be not save and this error will appear.

"The Microsoft Jet Database engine cannot find a record in a table Sub Detail with key matching fields"

Ok. Do you understand how subforms work? Do you understand the relationship between a subform and the main form?

The problem you're having is not about the control you're using it's about how you are using it.

Create the form using the wizard and select all the fields that you have on there now.

I haven't yet had a look at your db, but are you sure you've got the right relationships?
