Error when trying to make an MDE in 2000 format. (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

G'day guys, I have prepared an ACCDB file in MS Access 2007, and when I tired to save it as MDB for the Access 2000 saving format, it is saving as an MDB, however it is is giving an error as 'You cannot create a xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ADE or MDE file from a database saved in 2000 format'

Please note that I was able to do the same in saving, as MDB in the 2002-2003 format, and then convert to MDE for the same version.

similarly, I was able to convert the ACCDB file into an ACCDE.

anyone can help me with this, would be indeed a big help.

antonio.manoj.derose, I would advice you to have a look at Utter Access WIKI for more information. It has a chart that explains what versions supports what. It is quiet outdated, but still should cover your question.
