excel 2007 datedif function question

i have a problem with the datedif function in Excel 2007, (it displays
#NUM! when i try to use it).

I know this isn't an Excel forum - can someone recommend one?

It will be an invalid paramater passed to one of the arguments. Eg Empty cell.

Note that the arguments are in a different order and use different period string from DateDiff() in Access.

The link says that it is for Excel 2000 and 2003 , but it also works in 2013.
