HI,

Excel is having difficulties calculating a workbook of mine. It complains about cirkular references, so I had to set the iterations manually.

The workbook holds about 5000 records and I´m using a cosinus function.

The thing is I don´t know what to do. Excel calculates the workbook, but it doesn´t do it right. What setting should I use with the iterations?

I´m thinking of running it in excel 97. Will that help?

I really need to be able to run this workbook. Does anyone have an idea?

Is this an Access question or would you have better success in the Excel forum?

Actually I wasn´t sure where to post it.

I´m doing this in excel, but I might do it in access in stead.

But I suspect it is a general msoffice question.

You could:
1) Use Auditing to find the circular functions
2) Use a few lines of data until you solve the problem
3) Post the formulas you are using, but preferrably in the Excel forum!

Ok, I´ll see if I can do that. Maybe I´m not allowed to post that information.

The thing is it works for about 1000 rows, and then it just sort of gives up. Then when I recalculate, it sometimes gives another result.

Could it simply be too much for excel to handle?

Fuga,
No apology necessary, we both just thought you would have better success with your issue in the other forum.
