I have a number of excel files that are regularly updated via a macro into an access database, now these dont work sometimes, three of the tables come up with 3 errors

one just makes the macro fail
One Has A numeric field overflow
one has an external table not in expected format

using the same formatting and proceedure as the other macro commands that all seam to work well.

I'm using the simple transferspreadsheet command with the settings in the picture below

Could this be an error with the excel sheet i'm importing from. this sheet was itself exported from access

Can you help thanks
Chris

I'm certainly no expert, but I believe it would be much better to use queries than macros.

Sorry

Confustion there, the macros run append and delete Queries which Take the information from The excel files and input them into tables withiun that access DB which are then linked to a main filestore access DB hence updating this main file store.
the errors i'm getting i would presume to be either empty or redundant files or corrupted files

i have tried importing one of the excel files with no luck i have no idea how to make it work i suppose i could try exporting it from excel to tab de-limited format and then importing it directly into access I'll let you know how it goes

prabha

i need to store jpg files from c folder to macros.
can i know how to do it
