Excel format dddd Access ???

Hi,

I am importing from Excel. In Excel I have a column formatted as dddd, that way the date will show up as the day of the week.

When I import to into Access I lose that format and just get the date.

How can I get I get the day of the week to show up in Access like I do in Excel?
