exporting an access database as an exe

hi open to any suggestions but basically i'm trying to create some kind of database and have it on a CD to give out as a catalgue, i was thinking that maybe an access database exported as an exe file might do the trick as it has to be stand alone and not use a server (no asp pages)....

but can't just be an access database as not everyone has access on there machines and without it it wouldn't run...

anyone got any ideas ??

THe only way you can legally do this, as far as I know, is to use the Access Runtime Development Edition (or whatever it is called) to distribute your database on machines that don't have Access installed.

There is no such thing as converting a database to an executable application.
