Exporting to Excel Truncates Field

I have a query with a number of fields. One of those is a memo field and some contain quite a bit of text. Every time I try to export the data to Excel, the longer entries get truncated. I am then forced to manually copy/paste information from Access to Excel from the affected cells. Is their a way to fix this?

It's strange that the text in Excel is truncated.
I do the same export with one of my Dbases and found no problems.
All cells in my Excel spreadsheet have been formatted as text.
Maybe that helps.

It may be that I'm using Access '97 and exporting to Excel 2000?

Also, when I export, I select the option of exporting to Excel '97. I wonder if this is the reason?

It is driving me crazy!!!!
