Extracting part of a Word file

Hi all
I have several word files that include ALOT of text, the text in those files is arranged under different titles. Som of those Word documents include a title "Adverse Events", what I want to do is simply to extract the text after this title (when it is there in the word file) and put it into a record set in the access DB
Is this possible through VBA?

Which word version?
Word version from 2007 and further (docx) are formatted xml/text files which are zipped.
Unzipping them and browsing through the resulting files might be a little faster than opening a word doc in the word application and then searching for the string.

So which is it?

It is Word 2003 ie .doc format, and there are 1200 such files in a folder that i need to extract data from
