I've set up a from with dates for Archive and Current date Information.

I've entered the Follwing code for the Queries "Between ([Forms].[All Absent Data for Date Range].[Start Date Archive]) And ([Forms].[All Absent Data for Date Range].[End Date Archive])"

this changes only slightly for the Current date info.

the problem i'm having is the Data returned by the querry is erratic. when i enter dates that are outside of the range of the data i get a Blank data sheet. When i enter dates that corispond to the date range i get all the data in the table, for example i enter "jan 1 04" to "jan 20 04" i will get data from dec 1 03 to feb 28 04.

Can someone please let me know what i'm doing wrong. I;m lost here...  :(

I'm guessing it could be the date formats that you're using. I would never use a date like "jan 1 04" just because it doesn't look like a standard date format. I would either place a comma after the 1 like "jan 1, 04" to show that the 1 is the date and not the year, or I would enter the dates in this format: "yy/mm/dd" or whatever is appropriate for your region.

What i was using for the format was "mmm-dd-yy" thats how all of thr data reads.....no that might not be right since i put the format in after data had been entered, i better check that.

EDIT
nope thats not it. all my data is in the right order.
