Creating Report, pulled in numeric field from table.
Properties, chose Standard from Format Drop-down
Changed my mind, opened properties and deleted the word Standard (at least I think that is what I did)
Went back to choose Currency and there is nothing in the drop-down to choose for formatting.
I tried a Repair on Office 2010, but it did not solve the problem.

I've attached a screen shot showing the empty drop-down. It covers the decimal places property which is set to Auto.

Does anyone know how to get the format options back?

Thanks

So is the field actually listed in the CONTROL SOURCE property of the control?

Yes, the Control Source shows the field name

So, anyway, even if it doesn't show up there, you should be able to type in the format you want either like:

Currency

or

$#,##0.00

(I used US currency since that is mine, but you can use others just the same)

Well I'm an idiot! I forgot that I changed some code last night to re-pull the external data. In the process I managed to change the fields to text. When creating the report, they have decimal property as auto so I didn't think to go back and look at the table design.

As soon as I fix my code and have the fields properly set to numeric, all will be well.

My sincere apologies.

Thank you so much for taking the time to try puzzling this one out!!
