File SaveAs Problem (1 Viewer)

I have an Access button that basically does the following:

On Button Click open "Account Profile Form.doc"

Edit "Account Profile Form.doc"

SaveAs("NewUniqueFileName")


The first run works fine. However, if I don't close the document then on the second run I get "Account Profile Form locked for editing by ME." Yet, it doesn't seem to be open because it doesn't appear in msWord and afterall, I previously saved it under a new file name. What am I missing here? Thanks!

Well, looks like I'm the only one posting here.

I never really solved my problem but I found a good work around. Instead of saving the original file under a new name, I created a copy of the file and saved the copy under a new name. Then I was able to close the orignal file.
