"File sharing lock count exceeded. Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry."

I'm getting this error every time I'm trying to import large txt file to Access. I know it is common error, but any solution found on the net doesn't work here:(
File has 500K or other one - 2M records.
Even if I change this in regedit to 20000000 value, still get this error.
How can I fix it?

When I import data without setting Autonumber, then I don't get this error - only when I add autonumber to it (primary key as ID).

Please help!

Not sure there is a way with that many records. Is this something you are going to have to do like once a week?

I do that 5-10 times a day.

How about saving your txt file into a csv format and importing that?

I would consider SQL Server Express with a link to an Access front end. You can install it locally and then you shouldn't run into that issue.
