I don't know if this is possible but...
right now everything is saving to "Course" but that is quickly going to fill and make a long selection list
what I did was add "Program" field hoping to make the lists shorter and filter off the BMED and HHP ,etc (will add the other when this works)
I tried cascading combo box (and got it to work) but it turned out not to be what I needed because every time I changed to a new record it changed all of them and I need a complete list.
What I need to do is have "Program" filter "Course No." and then have it only display the programs that have a deptID(combo91) of BMED etc.
I have included an pared down version of the database with just the form/tables needed .View attachment 43150
